City and Colour is a solo project of guitarist and vocalist Dallas Green. Back when I was in college, I only knew of this one song but not the artist nor the title. Just recently, I've been trying to find a perfect song for those see-you-again-in-a-long-time moments. Thanks to man's best invention, Google, I found the song -- and found the title a little too far from home.The song plainly says what I expected to find. It's not the type of song you'd want to play on loop in your player; you kinda have to be in the moment to fully appreciate it. Still, it's a good clean song. Here, try it.
