Owl City - If My Heart Was A House

I must admit that listening to this track is a guilty pleasure. This song is way too cheesy -- and I mean waaaaay too cheesy even for your average cheese fans. But man, I guess we all need a dose of in-your-face flowery lyrics every once in a while. I feel like I need a hug everytime I listen to this song. LOL.

The lyrics itself aren't necessarily deep, it was how the whole arrangement of the music was presented. I dunno, it worked for me though; the occasional vocal reverb, the overwhelming synth all throughout the song...Adam Young (Owl City) did a great job with this song and in my opinion a much better than his mainstream hit, Fireflies.

"Circle me and the needle moves gracefully back and forth, if my heart was a compass you'd be north.." Hug me, quick!
