Whenever I hear the name Sinead O'Connor it always reminds me of 90's feminism and protest music. But despite her many controversies (remember that SNL performance?), the other thing that sticks in mind is her beautiful rendering of the song Nothing Compares 2 U.There's something very refreshing about this song everytime I hear it. For me it's actually about letting go and being all human about the emotions that go with it. It's the song that's perfect to play during that brief moment regret and reminiscence --which, hopefully, leads to acceptance.
