There are just so many reasons why I think Hope Sandoval has the best vocals of all time. Besides being a distant relative of mine, the way she sings always brings me to a peaceful trance. Especially with this song. Personally, one of the saddest songs I know besides being hauntingly beautiful and painfully relevant for the moment. Towards the end of the song though, I feel a certain sense of acceptance -that "letting go" feeling- that some good things don't stay the way they are.
Well, that's as far as what I try to convince myself to.
