Remember when hip-hop was music? I'm not sayin' that all hip-hop albums these days are crap, but the majority of the mainstream hip-hop leaves a sour taste in my mouth (or ears). Most hip-hop songs these days almost always talk about fame, money, and sex. It's too braggy and the art, at least for me, is lost.Digable Planets is one of the best hip-hop groups in the 90's, I dare say. Their tracks opened my eyes (and ears) to good hip-hop music and I hope it does the same on you too. ;)
