Things like this I always try to keep an optimistic mind. Which I still do. What sucks with being an optimist is when things turn out the other way, you really get caught up in the moment and you crash; same as when a pessimist gets an unexpected stroke of good luck.
So yes, I guess today is character-building day. For me it's how you react in a situation you don't have any control of. I feel sad and tired but at the same time there's this unmistakable, almost a tad bit annoying, radiance of optimism inside me. That maybe everything will fall into place. That it's a learning curve. That we have all the time in the world to wait. That this is a kind transition.
On the other hand, when I really try think about it, I'm really at a loss for words.
